Booking & rates

How do I book a room?

Choose your dates and room on the Rooms & Suites page, or ask the concierge in the chat window. You will receive a confirmation by email as soon as the desk has reserved the room. Nothing is charged at the time of booking.

Do I have to pay when I book?

No. You reserve now and settle the bill at the hotel. We do not take a deposit and we do not store card details on this website.

What does the nightly rate include?

The rate you see is the final rate for one night. Government taxes and the city levy are already included and are never added at the desk. The only extras are things you choose to buy, such as airport transfers, spa treatments or extra beds.

Which currencies can I see prices in?

Prices are shown in US dollars, euros, Ugandan shillings and Kenyan shillings. Use the currency switch in the header to change the display; the conversion uses a live rate and the US dollar figure is the reference amount.

Can I book for someone else?

Yes. Give the guest's full name and a phone number they can be reached on during the stay, and add your own email if you would like the confirmation. The guest will need their own identification at check-in.

How do I change or cancel a booking?

Message the concierge or call the front desk with your confirmation reference. Changes are free up to 48 hours before arrival. Inside 48 hours the desk will still help where it can, but the room may already be held for you.

Can I request a specific room?

Tell us what matters — a quiet corner, a ground-floor room, a particular view — and the desk will do its best. We guarantee the room category you booked; the individual room number is assigned shortly before arrival.

Do you offer long-stay rates?

Yes. Stays of a week or more are quoted individually, and monthly arrangements are available for guests working in Mukono and Kampala. Send the desk your dates and we will reply with a rate.

Do I need an account to book?

No account is needed. We ask only for the details required to hold the room and to reach you if anything changes.

Rooms & comfort

9
What room types do you offer?

Five: the Double Room at $52, the Deluxe Double at $62, the Standard Single at $35, the Twin at $62 and the Suite at $99. Every rate is per night and includes all taxes. Full descriptions and photographs are on the Rooms & Suites page.

Which room is best for a couple?

The Deluxe Double is the usual choice — more space than the Double, and the extra bed option if a child joins you. For an anniversary or a longer stay, the Suite gives you a separate sitting area.

Which room suits a solo traveller?

The Standard Single at $35 is the most economical, and it is a proper room rather than a reduced double. If you would like more space, the Double at $52 is only slightly more.

Do you have a twin room?

Yes — the Twin Room at $62 has two beds and is the usual choice for colleagues or friends travelling together. It can also be arranged as a double if you prefer; tell the desk before arrival.

What makes the Suite different?

The Suite at $99 is the largest of the five, with a separate sitting area and room to work or entertain. It is the room most guests choose for a longer stay or a special occasion.

Is Wi-Fi included in the rooms?

Yes, and there is no charge. The connection is strong enough for video calls in every room and across the gardens.

Do the rooms have air conditioning?

Every room is air-conditioned and also has a ceiling fan. If the room feels too warm when you arrive, tell the desk and we will have it checked the same day.

Are cots and extra beds available?

A cot is free. An extra bed can be added to the Deluxe Double and to the Suite for a small nightly charge, subject to the room being able to take it. Ask when you book so it is in the room before you arrive.

Can I see more photographs of a room?

Each room page has a gallery, and the concierge can send photographs of a specific room type in the chat window. If you need to see something particular — the bathroom, the desk, the view — ask and we will send it.

Arrival & departure

8
What time is check-in?

Check-in opens at 2:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, leave your luggage at the desk and use the gardens or the restaurant while the room is prepared.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Late check-out is often possible — ask the desk the evening before and we will confirm.

Can I check in early?

Usually, yes, if the room was not occupied the night before. Send the desk your arrival time and we will tell you honestly whether the room can be ready. There is no charge when it can.

Can I check out late?

Where the room is not needed for another guest, we can usually hold it until 2:00 PM at no charge and later by arrangement. Tell the desk the day before you leave.

Do you offer airport transfers?

Yes — a private chauffeur can meet you at Entebbe at any hour. Send your flight number and arrival time and the desk will confirm the driver and the meeting point. The transfer is quoted separately from the room.

How far are you from Entebbe Airport?

About 40 minutes by car, depending on traffic. The hotel is on Bukerere Road in Misindye, Mukono, on the Kampala side of the airport.

Is parking available?

Yes, on site and free for guests, with a night guard on duty. Tell the desk if you are arriving with a large vehicle so space can be kept for you.

Can you store my luggage?

Of course. We will keep bags before check-in and after check-out at no charge, and can arrange a car to collect you when you are ready to leave.

Dining

5
What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served from 6:30 to 10:00 AM in the Garden Restaurant. If you are leaving before that for a flight, tell the desk the evening before and we will prepare something for you to take.

Is breakfast included in the rate?

Your booking confirmation states exactly what is included, because some rates are room-only. If you are unsure, the concierge can check your reservation and tell you before you arrive.

When is the restaurant open?

Lunch and dinner are served until 11:00 PM. The kitchen is happy to prepare something outside those hours for guests arriving late — call the desk on the way and it will be ready.

Is there a bar?

Yes — the Glass Bar serves cocktails, Ugandan coffee and a short wine list until midnight.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. Tell us when you book or when you arrive, and the kitchen will plan around it. For a serious allergy, please speak to the desk directly rather than only noting it in a booking.

Payments & policies

9
Which payment methods do you accept?

Cards, cash and mobile money. We accept payment in Ugandan shillings, US dollars, euros and Kenyan shillings, and the desk will confirm the day's rate before charging a card.

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes. VAT and the city levy are included in every rate shown on this site. They are not itemised on your bill because they are already part of the price.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before arrival. If you cancel later than that, the desk will hold the value against a future stay where the room cannot be relet — talk to us rather than simply not arriving.

What happens if I do not arrive?

The room is held for you, so please tell us if your plans change. If we have not heard from you by the morning after your arrival date, the desk will try the number on the booking before releasing the room.

Are children welcome?

Very. Children stay free in existing bedding, a cot costs nothing, and the garden is a safe place for them to run. Tell us their ages when you book so the right room is assigned.

Do you allow pets?

We consider small pets case by case rather than applying a blanket rule. Message the desk with the animal and the dates and you will get a straight answer the same day.

Is smoking allowed?

Guest rooms are non-smoking. There are outdoor areas where smoking is permitted, and the desk will point you to them when you arrive.

Do I need identification at check-in?

Yes. Every guest aged 18 and over must show a passport or national identity card at check-in, as Ugandan law requires hotels to keep a guest register.

Can visitors come to my room?

Visitors are welcome in the public areas and should sign in at the desk. For everyone's security, visitors are not taken to guest rooms; the lounge and terrace are comfortable places to meet.

Events & business

5
Do you host weddings and events?

Yes. The events pavilion and gardens take weddings, receptions and celebrations, with catering and accommodation in the same place. Send the desk your date and guest numbers and we will come back with a plan and a quote.

Do you have conference facilities?

Three flexible rooms are available, with a projector, screen, flip charts and Wi-Fi, and catering from the kitchen. Capacities depend on the layout you need, so tell us the number of delegates and the desk will recommend the right room.

Can I book a group of rooms?

Yes. For five rooms or more the desk will hold a block and quote a group rate, and can arrange meals and transfers for the whole party. Early notice helps, particularly in December and around public holidays.

Can I hold a photoshoot at the hotel?

By arrangement, and subject to the house being quiet enough for other guests. Send the date, the crew size and what you intend to film, and the desk will confirm whether it can work.

Do you offer printing or business services?

The desk can print, scan and photocopy for you, and there is a quiet corner of the lounge where guests take calls. For anything larger, tell us the day before so it can be ready.

Privacy & support

5
Is the hotel accessible for wheelchair users?

Ground-floor rooms have step-free access from the car park, and the public areas are on the same level. Tell us what you need before you arrive and the desk will assign the right room and meet you on arrival.

What should I do if I leave something behind?

Contact the desk as soon as you notice, with the room you stayed in and a description of the item. Anything found is kept for 30 days, and we can send it on by courier at cost.

How do I speak to a person?

The concierge chat is answered by the front desk every day between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and the assistant takes messages outside those hours. You can also email reservations@jinnasuites.com or info@jinnasuites.com, or call +256 705 732 344 or +256 779 485 974.

Do you use cookies on this website?

Only what the site needs to work until you say otherwise. Essential cookies remember your language, currency and booking in progress; analytics and marketing cookies load only if you switch them on. You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

How is my personal data handled?

We collect only what is needed to hold your booking and look after you during your stay, we do not sell it, and we keep it only as long as the law requires. The full detail, including your rights and how to exercise them, is in our privacy policy.
